Nurse Practitioner – Union Spine & Pain Management
Michelle M. Lopez, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in pain management. With extensive experience in home-based primary care and case management, she is committed to improving patient outcomes through compassionate and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Michelle earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Paterson University, graduating with academic honors. Her background includes a strong foundation in acute and chronic disease management, wound care, post-surgical recovery, and medication reconciliation.
Before joining Union Spine & Pain Management, Michelle worked as a Nurse Practitioner with Visiting Physician Services, where she provided comprehensive primary care to homebound patients. She also served as a Case Manager and Visiting Nurse with Barnabas Health Home Care/VNA, specializing in post-surgical care, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Her experience extends to behavioral health, having worked at Drenk Behavioral Health Center, where she focused on medication management and crisis intervention for adolescents with psychological and behavioral conditions. Additionally, Michelle has served as a Nurse Supervisor in home care settings, ensuring quality care delivery and staff supervision.
With a deep commitment to holistic patient care, Michelle brings her expertise and compassionate approach to Union Spine & Pain Management, where she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions.
